
Siefert Notches a Trio of Victories and Career-Best at Last Chance Meet
INDIANAPOLIS – At the Last Chance meet hosted by Marian University, Kiana Siefert continued her late-season surge with a trio of victories for the Trojans.
The two-sport sophomore won the 100-meter hurdles, long jump, and triple jump while setting a new career best at the latter, with a distance of 11.31 meters (31 feet 1.25 inches).
Adelyn Schoenbeck set a career best in the hammer throw with a toss of 37.46 meters (122 feet 11 inches), over a foot better than her previous record.
Nicole Domene had a solid showing, finishing second in the 200-meters and third in the 100-meters with times of 12.72 and 26.14.
Janna Teusch continued the career best theme in the pole vault. The freshman cleared a height of 3.4 meters (11 feet 1.25 inches) to surpass her previous high of 3.2 meters.
Taylor will send another contingent of athletes to the Fighting Chance Invite in Joliet, Illinois, beginning Friday, May 10 at 6:00 pm.
