Crossroads League AOTW Nov. 4-10 | TU Honors Page
JACKSON, Mich. – Jaynie Halterman was named the Crossroads League Runner of the Week for Nov. 4-10 on Monday following her individual title at the CL Championships on Nov. 8.
By earning the honor, Halterman remains a perfect five-for-five in weekly awards following races in which she has run.
The Thompson's Station, Tennessee, native has now won all five of her collegiate races, yet she continues to top her own records.
Halterman led Taylor to its 12th consecutive Crossroads League title Friday by taking the individual crown with more than 33 seconds to spare. In doing so, the freshman also beat the previous 6k course record by 75 seconds and outperformed her own program record by nearly 20 seconds when she crossed in 20:36.9.
First-ranked TU is set to participate at the 2024 NAIA Women's Cross Country Championship in Columbia, Missouri, on Nov. 22 at 12:30 p.m. EST.
