TU Competitive Cheer Cracks NAIA Top-20
UPLAND, Ind. – For the second-straight year, the Taylor competitive cheer team has entered the NAIA Top-25 computer rankings based off average team scores throughout the current season.
TU has posted its best three scores in program history to start the 2023 season, surpassing the 80-point plateau in all three of its performances and enters its home competition on February 17 ranked No. 20 in the NAIA with an average team score of 81.10.
That mark currently places the Trojans second in the Crossroad League, trailing only No. 15 Indiana Wesleyan and in front of No. 22 Marian, No. 33 Bethel, No. 36 Saint Francis.
All five of those teams will compete inside Odle Arena on Friday, February 17 at 7:30 pm in the Trojan Invite, before battling for the 2023 Crossroads League Championship hosted by IWU on February 25.
