
Trojans Open Weekend Slate in Loaded Field at IWU
MARION, Ind. – Taylor turned in a clean performance on Friday evening at the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcat Invitational, registering a score of 81.27 in the first of three weekend routines at the two-day event.
TU's mark of 81.27 pushed its season average over the 80-point barrier to 80.21 and was the sixth-best score in program history, as well as the season's second-best mark for the Trojans.
Despite the crisp performance, Taylor finished the first round in sixth out of 10 teams at the event, which included six teams ranked inside the top-20 in the NAIA.
Taylor will take the mat two more times on Saturday, February 10, with scheduled performances at 12:30 and 3:30 pm.
