
TU Football Hauls in 24 NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors
KANSAS CITY – The Taylor University football program showed off its elite academic prowess once again, this time seeing 24 student-athletes named as NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Taylor was represented on the list by Clay Adams, Cole Baker, Stephen Ellis, Owen Frasure, Braxton Green, Seth Griswold, Matthew Hager, Jake Halderman, Jacob Hockett, Hutson Hohlbein, Isaac Hoke, Gage Holder, Brendan Lamb, Isaac Maas, Evan MacMillan, Michael Medlock, Isaac Rans, Braxton Ream, Bryce Vasvari, Adam Watson, David Wells, Parker Whitby, Carter Wortman and Hojun Yun.
Taylor's 24 NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors were among the 968 football student-athletes from around the NAIA to be recognized.
To be eligible for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete award, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale, while having attended one full year at their current institution.
