Trojans Inch to No. 20 in Latest NAIA Poll
KANSAS CITY – The Taylor women's golf team climbed two spots to No. 20 in the newest NAIA Top-25 Women's Golf Poll. The Trojans opened the season at No. 13, before slipping to No. 22 in the final poll of the fall season.
Taylor opened its spring season well, winning the Baker Shootout in Spring Hill, Kansas on March 11 and 12. TU dominated the field of nine, defeating the next-closest team by 36 strokes.
The Trojans have won three of their five events so far during the 2023-2024 year, with a runner-up finish also mixed in.
No. 20 TU will look for its second win of the spring season and its third-straight team win when it plays in the Purgatory Intercollegiate on March 22 and 23.
