
Lim Inches Up Leaderboard on Day Three of Nationals
SILVIS, Ill. – A strong final nine holes for Shayne Lim over the third round of the 2024 NAIA Women's Golf National Championships moved the sophomore up two spots to 14th on the individual leaderboard entering Friday's final 18 holes of action.
Lim posted two birdies and made par on 10 other holes during Thursday's round, but saved her best for last. Lim carded birdies on the fifth and ninth hole, closing her final nine holes of the day at even par.
For the day, Lim shot a 76, improving on her 77's from Tuesday and Wednesday to move up from 16th to 14th overall. The rounds of 77, 77 and 76 positioned Lim just five shots outside of the top-five through 54 holes.
Lim will take the TPC Deere Run course at 8:50 am (ET) on Friday morning looking to record her best individual finish in her two appearances at Nationals, after ending 63rd as a freshman one year ago.
