Trojans Ranked No. 19 in NAIA Preseason Poll
KANSAS CITY – On the heels of a top-20 showing at the 2024 NAIA National Championships, the Taylor women's golf program will enter the 2024-2025 season ranked No. 19, as announced by the NAIA Top-25 Preseason Poll.
Taylor posted 192 points in the poll, putting the Trojans comfortably inside the top-20 and just one point back of No. 18 Ottawa-Arizona.
TU's 18th-place finish at Nationals last spring marked the program's sixth-straight finish inside the top-20, as the Trojans have finished among the top-three in the Crossroads League in each of those seasons and claimed four league titles in that span.
The Trojans are poised for another strong showing in the coming season, having returned four regulars from their lineup, led by All-Crossroads League standouts Shayne Lim, Margarita Garrido and Ellie Beavins.
No. 19 Taylor will open its fall season at the Huntington Invitational on September 2 and 3.
