VanderWall Picks Up CL Weekly Honor

JACKSON, Mich. – Noel VanderWall was named the Crossroads League Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week on Monday, following her standout performance at the Butler Invitational on Saturday.

VanderWall opened her 2024 indoor campaign by taking on a field of NCAA Division I and II athletes and finishing third-of-22 runners in the mile. VanderWall's time of 5:03.92 also automatically qualified her for NAIA Nationals.

The award is the second weekly honor for VanderWall from the Crossroads League in her two years at TU and gives Taylor Athletics its 15th weekly league award this year.

VanderWall and the Trojans will be back in action on Saturday, January 27, when they host the Taylor Trojan Invite at 9:30 am.
