
TU Women’s Track Collects 12 NAIA All-American Awards
UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor women's indoor track and field team recently wrapped up its season with a 12th-place showing at the NAIA National Championships. The Trojans logged 12 NAIA All-American awards from nine student-athletes over five events at the three-day event.
Noel VanderWall, Ashley Hall, Emily Johnson, Abby Mays, Audrey Brinkruff, Mollie Gamble, Kaitlin Burden, Olivia Jeanette and Ahna Neideck all raced to All-American honors, with VanderWall, Johnson, and Mays each collecting a pair of All-American awards.
In addition to the All-American performances, Taylor set four new program records at the National Championships, breaking the school marks in the 4x800-meter relay, distance-medley relay, 400-meters and mile.
In order to receive NAIA All-American recognition, an athlete or relay must advance to the finals at the NAIA National Championships and record a top-eight finish.
