
Siefert Captures CL Women’s Field Athlete-of-the-Week After Electric Performance at the CL Championships

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its weekly awards in which Kiana Siefert was honored as the women's field Athlete-of-the-Week after scoring 36 points for the Trojans at the Crossroads League Championships and being named the Women's Most Valuable Athlete for Field Events as well as Female Athlete of the Meet.
The sensational sophomore won the CL title in both her field events, the triple jump and the long jump. Siefert recorded a distance of 11.25 meters in the triple jump and notched a mark of 5.75 meters in the long jump, which hit the NAIA B Standard.
Siefert continued her work on the track, competing in a trio of events and scoring in each for Taylor. The Noblesville native had a time of 14.57 in the 100-meters to make the podium in third and hit her second NAIA B Standard of the event. Siefert also carded a seventh-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:09.75.
The two-sport standout stayed busy, combining with D'Arjha Davis, Nicole Domene, and Jessie Beaumont in the 4x100-meter relay and collecting a second-place finish. The quartet of Trojans combined for a time of 48.18.
Siefert's award is the 28th athlete-of-the-week honor for Taylor during the 2023-2024 year.
The women's track team will compete in the Marian Last Chance Meet beginning Wednesday, May 8 at 11:00 am.
